In this article you will learn how to update a page's layout options for a page on your website. Page options allow you to change the layout and in some cases content of a page. Maybe you want a section to the left or to the right, maybe you want 4 columns instead of 3, those are typically a page option and available to adjust. For some pages we provide completely different styles or layouts, for example the Item Detail page.
To get started login to your site's Admin.
The easiest way to modify a page's options is from the page itself, once you've logged in, go to the page you're trying to edit and click on the page title in your admin bar. You'll find a link to Modify Layout, this will open your page's option in a new tab.
All options will provide a default, in order to adjust you'll want to want to uncheck the default on the right and then Save & Continuing Editing, from there you can select a different option or turn off the default.
The other way to get to page options is from the Pages admin, under Content > Pages if you hover over your page you'll see a gear icon to adjust the page's options just like above. This can be helpful if you need to edit a few pages.
If you ever want to go back to the default we provide, just check that box on the right side and Save.
